Father And Sons Team Up

(PRWEB) May 19, 2012
The father and sons team aim to build a number of app games from their home based online business. They hope others will follow their lead and look at the mobile phone app industry as a work from home opportunity.
Rich has dabbled in internet marketing but has now ventured over into apps. With Apple?s iPhone app downloads now surpassing 25 billion, Rich was interested to see how hard it would be for an ?app newbie? to produce an app game. The huge success enjoyed by some of the more popular apps being created by relative newcomers, with little or no experience, is what enticed Rich to explore a business model based on the mobile apps industry.
On a recent six hour car trip together, Oliver and Rich decided to give creating a mobile app game together a go. ?It was Oliver who came up with the idea for our first mobile app game. Oliver and Baxter both have a lot more experience than I do as players of app games. I was captivated by the simplicity of the mobile apps business model.?
From his research into producing apps Rich was impressed by how virtually anyone with a computer with an internet connection and a smart-phone can get into this business and produce mobile app games. ?The boys and I figured at this early stage of the mobile app industry it was a relatively level playing field as there was still not one big player dominating the market.? Neither father nor sons know computer coding for apps, so outsourcing this role plus the graphic design for their games is all part of their business model.
Rich has completed the web based ?Mobile Game System? course by successful App Game Producer Trey Smith. Rich and his sons also learnt about building apps from Appreneur Chad Mureta. Reading Chad?s information on starting an App business wet their appetite to learn more and to take action. Rich and his two sons have launched their crowdfunding campaign at http://www.indiegogo.com/bullrun
With the help of this international crowdfunding website, a project like this can be fully funded by supporters who make a funding contribution and in return receive certain perks. The number of perks a contributor receives relates to the size of their contribution. Some of the perks on offer include: having the contributors name in the games credits, receiving a copy of their soon to be released ebook detailing the steps they took to produce their first app game, having a bull in the game named after a major contributor.
